Surge Pro-Tect-or

Every Tuesday, Zachary goes to a computer class at school. He learns all about the different parts of the computer and get's to play games where he learns about all sorts of things (ie., letters and numbers). Last night, Zachary looked at me and straight out said, " Surge Pro-Tect-or". I did a double take because I just couldn't imagine hearing that coming out of a 3 year olds mouth! I asked him to say it again, and he did. I asked him if he knew what a surge protector did. He said, "It hooks up to the computer and gives food to the computer so it can work." For a while now, Kevin and I have been trying to decide whether or not to keep up with Zach's computer classes, or to stop them. I think we have our answer. It was fun to listen to him last night... "Say it with me Mommy, Surge Pro-Tect- Or" " Good Job, Mommy, let's say it again." I asked him what kind of food computers eat, and tried to get him to say "Electricity". I need to get video of that!

Kevin and I both stayed home from work on Monday, "iced in Day 3". Yesterday was better, but then we woke up this morning and it was horrible again. Pretty much all schools within at least 100 miles were closed. We decided to try to make it to work. We waited until rush-hour was over and then ventured out. We both made it there and back just fine, although the morning commute was much longer than usual.
